今回の一番のポイントはUbuntu 18.10に正式に対応したという点のようですね。他にもリリースノートに色々書いてありますが、細かい点が修正されているようです。また、アプリの全体的な安定性なども修正されているようですね。アップデート必要なさそうに感じますが、アプリケーション全体の修正もあるようなので適用しておきました。
